What is a Folder?

A folder is the way you will organize your Alan documents, just like you do on your computer.

Public or Private Folder?

If your folder is set to PUBLIC, anyone with the external_id you will be able to interact your folder.

Can I have sub-folders?

Right now we don't support "sub-folders", that means if you have a structure on your side that has sub-folders you can only create the Parent folder and send all files to this Folder.
